RelianceFM will undertake to act in a transparent manner extending our Culture of Care in all dealings with customers and others; our Fair Trading Policy reinforces that undertaking as RelianceFM is committed to dealing with customers and suppliers in an open and honest manner.
We manage our procurement activities in to ensure our supply chain impacts are minimised or prevented. The management of our goods and services supply chain is an integral in recognition of the influence we have in the marketplace, specifically we will recognise the requirements of our stakeholders and other standards such as the Government’s Sustainable Quick Wins, European Eco Labels and European Commission’s Green Public Procurement Guidance. RelianceFM will ensure:
- Those goods derived from natural sources such as timber and plants come from sustainable sources and comply with EU and international trading rules e.g. FSC timber.
- That any virgin pulp used in paper comes from sustainably managed woodlands and that both the pulp and the recycling process is chlorine free.
- Our supply chain partners where relevant, to improve environmental awareness and increase use of new technology and products to reduce environmental impact.
- That no products containing CFCs or other ozone depleting substances are purchased when there are suitable alternatives.
- Products such as aerosols, peat, or chemicals on UK Red List or EU Black List are not purchased.
